The morning, as I woke up today seem blissful and serene. The temperature is hovering around 67 degrees farenheit(aproxmately 20 degrees celsius) and that is so good for a summer morning. I woke up at 7.30am today and walked to the patio, resting my elbows on the patio panels and as I listened to the whizz of the morning wind and this one bird that nomally make noise within the dafodills beneath,

I remembered the good old days at Teshie Nungua Estates in Accra Ghana. The shrubs in between A-Life and The Estates attract birds and these birds would wake you up with their noise those days. I do not know if those shrubs are still there. As I glanced through the blue sky so bright I remembered those days when as young guys we would be returning home from Jams late night and the only sound you heard were the crickets on the ground and the shiny silvery stars quietly starring at you from above and ensuring you that daddy is asleep so just be smart and sneak in and pretend to snore the loudest snore ever invented. zzzzzzzzcuuuuul whooooa!! Oh, the good old Accra days.

Time to go! I am ready to hit he Interstate I 20 West. I have an urgent management meeting today. As I walked to my Car, my mind was quickly whizzed away to Accra when, those days, I would be standing in line at Circle until the Trotro or a Taxi Cab comes and with us packed like sardines ,would be willing to accomodate each other's body smell, sweat, 'Holy Incense" (Bad Mouth odor) and be content as we rode these ramshackles to T/Nungua Estates.I heard the Nigerian folks have chnaged my own long suffering beaiful ghanaiana into something from Mars named Whichmecalled............ Don't ask me!

I don't know!! If the Cab driver saw Jesus in his dream the previous night, then you would be charged a little above the normal fee. If the Cab driver saw a Vulture in his dreams the previous night, be prepared for a triple fee. yes becase it is a rush hour and that was when these guys displayed their apetite for 914.Ask the Nigerians not me! .Those days. Students with Big Mouth. If you were not lucky, you get stucked until oldman closes from work and pick you up on his way home.

I was always bothered by the fact that in Ghana, as people lined up to catch a Cab,one person would pick what is termed as 'Chatter", hop in the cab and leave those tired, sweat drenched, brow beaten, hard-working fellow sika man ba looking on like zombies as this single soul rides on an almost empty Cab. These felas makes Lucifer looks like a Saint. Well, Traffic today is not that bad because I left home early. Its 8.05am and I am zooming past these "18" Wheelers. if you hapenned to live in Atlanta, you know that is a hellish reality.

I could see cops with their sneaky atitude, but do not worry. My radar detector has already picked them up and i have just slowed down like a new Baby just born and being placed in a cot. Georgia Cop? No kidding! just left the meeting and it is about 10.45am My Assistant (Call her Secretary. I am trying to be politically correct) is one of the gracious daughter's of Eve. Very rspectful and calm undr pressure. That is direct opposite of a typical 'SISTA" A very devoted X-tian in deed.

I have decided to eat nothing today but pray that God would proptect me from the African "CIA"s and the UAC's as well as the traditional M15's it is Lunch time and I am in my car at Level "C" parking, listening to Ron Kenoly's song that says 'If you can use anything, then you can use me Oh Lord" My eyes are dabbed with tears as I remembered my oldman who died last year and his words would echo as I listened to the song. I could hear him loud and clear as he would normally say "Kwasi,if a thief steals your stuff, he has stolen nothing but if you make someone steals God from you, the one has stolen your life forever and you would fight with Scars to get it back" Well, I just spoke to God and I am back in my office.

Saintly mood today. Shhhhhhhhhh. My stomach is tumblig with a thunderous thump. I wish I could get Apreprensa and Okoto or Tuwo Zaafi, but unfortunately, I would have to settle with the normal American seafod which is nothing but 2 by 4 lobsters and some scallops with some brocolli lump at the side. food . I am home. I just spoke to God so today, I am staying home to listen to African Channel on Comcast Cable network. I miss Ghana!!!! Ihi Ihi ini. Awoooooo. Well, I am coming home in December.

It is about 11pm and I would have to jump to bed. Jasmine, my Angelic little charming beauty ( Looks like daddy right?) just ran to me and realised that daddy is realy calm and Angelic today so she hugs me and says "Daddy! you know what? " I said "what's up?" She says,"you know I love you right?" I respond "yeah Baby, I know you do and I would love you with he last drop of my blood and my last gasp to the Grave." I blew her a kiss, placed her in her bedroom and as i walked to my bedroom, I gazed up and mumured, 'What a wonderful world. The young shall grow and tomorrow will be a new day and a wonderful one." if you doubt it, I believe it................................adios amigos!
