Health Minister Under Fire |

Health Minister Maj. Courage Quashigah is under heavy fire from the Minority in Parliament for his constant failure to turn up in Parliament to answer questions relating to the Ministry.

The Minority NDC says the Minister's conduct is offensive and that he should be brought to book. Maj. Courage Quashigah was due to appear before the House on Tuesday to answer questions filed by MP on issues relating to the Health Ministry.
However, he failed to turn up. The Majority Leader Hon Abraham Osei Aidoo explained to the House that the Minister is currently outside the country on an official assignment and added that the Minister's Deputy, was available to answer the advertised questions.
However, Minority Leader Alban Bagbin forcefully rejected the arrangement announced by the Majority Leader, saying it was unacceptable to the Minority.
Honourable Bagbin refused to accept the explanation by the majority leader in parliament that exonerates Mr Courage Quashigah's travel to Geneva.
The minority went on further by demanding evidence of the Health Minister's travel to Geneva.
