The Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) yesterday presented prizes to winners of its first “Hye No Ma” raffle, the draw of which took place at the Tantra Hill GOIL filling station in Accra some two weeks ago.

The raffle which is to reward its valuable customers for keeping faith with the oil marketing company saw almost all the winners present at the ceremony.
Clarkson Laryea, the first winner of the five draws received his prize of a brand-new Tata Indica Saloon car together with GH¢500 worth of fuel from John Attafuah, Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
He commended GOIL for instituting the raffle, urging all to patronize it.
“Previously, I had the impression that raffles are cooked for certain people but winning the award shows how true it is,” the first-prize winner said.
Edward Duah Agyemang, Managing Director of GOIL reiterated the company’s resolve to expand, adding that monies accrued from listing on the Ghana Stock Exchange are being used to put up more filling stations and also beautify existing stations to signify the company’s continuation as a market leader.
