Michael Dwamena passes on

It may be a bad day for the entertainment industry, and for lovers of the hit song Ngozi that seems to have permeated every nook and cranny in Ghana.

Reports from the US indicate that Michael Dwamena the owner of the Ngozi title is dead.

He died at a Texas hospital in the early hours of Monday.

The ace musician who has created a niche for himself as top star in hiplife music, highlife and rock recently flew out of the country after touching down to trash out issues relating to his music agenda.

His managers said he was in the country to finish up works on his video clip and the launch of his latest album “owo mo ntsi” literary translated a kind of way.

The report of his death has already reached his family who are yet to visit the States to bring home the corpse for burial.
